Hey, I'm Loren
documentary photographer for sentimental souls.
I always joke that photography was my first love, because ever since I was a little girl I have always had my camera out -annoying family members and making sure not a moment was missed. Flash forward many years, and not a single person in my life is surprised that this is my job - because documenting life's memories is truly what I love to my core.
Life is too short to not photograph the moments you love most.
If you're anything like me + you want to deeply cherish your memories forever, then...
My life and my art.
My days begin with slow morning snuggles, one arm wrapped around my little boy Beau, the other usually tangled with one of our pups. It’s these everyday moments that fill my heart the most. We live in Edmonton, Alberta, but you’ll rarely find us still for long. Whether it’s a spontaneous road trip, a walk in the woods, or chasing golden hour through the mountains, we’re always chasing fresh air and freedom.
Beau is the center of my world — curious, wild-hearted, and full of laughter. Every day, I get the privilege of watching him discover the world. And with our dogs in tow, life is never quiet but it’s full.
Photography has always been my way of holding on to it all. The little hands in mine, muddy boots at the door, the sun casting shadows on our kitchen floor. I take photos because I never want to forget. The days go fast but photographs slow them down. This life we’re living is messy, magical, and oh so worth remembering.
That deep appreciation for memories is what led me to wedding photography. It’s the honour of witnessing love in its purest form — the vows, the laughter, the in-between moments that make your day uniquely yours. I believe every wedding is a story worth remembering, and it’s my joy to capture it all as it unfolds. There is so much beauty in this life, and to me, it's all worth documenting.

Adventuring around
One of the best things in this life is getting outside and connecting with nature. I always find that nature helps me feel calm, present, and my happiest self. We spend a lot of time adventuring outside as a family and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
what i love to do
Document love & lifes stories
I fell in love with photography the second I picked up my first camera. I've always been in awe with how powerful it is to be able to freeze a moment in time - and cherish that moment for the rest of our lives.

What fuels my soul
My main inspiration
My sweet son is the reason I wake up every day feeling inspired to document some of lifes most precious moments. As I watch him grow, I am reminded that life moves by too quickly, and its important to love hard, live fully, and cherish moments everyday.
